It is an oversized, double layered, A-line tunic (often referred to as a “Kaftan-kurta”) crafted from a premium quality undyed pure kora cotton fabric. The outfit features long straight sleeves finished with buttoned cuffs. A high center-front slit starts from the mid-thigh area, revealing the layered soft beige pure cotton silk fabric beneath. The focal point is a massive, U-shaped (yoke). The embroidery is a tonal thread work featuring large floral motifs and delicate vine-like patterns.The edges of the embroidered yoke are finished with raw-edge thread fringe.
